What is our Hazards Map? This hazards map is meant not to override the watches and warnings issued by the National Weather Service, but to provide an easier-to-understand method of understanding the weather which will impact our area during the current day. These maps will feature color coded levels of weather impacts, from green to red, with basic black and white graphics signifying the weather hazard(s) that are anticipating. Below the map, a table will be created with the associated hazards, the valid times and locations, and a link to the National Weather Service’s associated product.
