Weather conditions will gradually improve over the next couple of days, as a cut-off low decays and then moves away from the region. But some unsettled weather with possibly some isolated showers or thunderstorms around, will likely continue into this weekend. Much warmer than normal temperatures are still expected for Friday and Saturday. But some cooler weather is likely behind a backdoor cold front for Sunday. AM All Zones Update: Cut-off Low Early Week, Improving Weather Late Week

Forecast Overview

Some cooler and unsettled for will be around through middle of this week, as cut-off low slowly moves northward along the East Coast. Best chance of rainfall will be between late Tuesday and early Wednesday. Then more improving weather with a warming trend is likely late in the week into the weekend, as a ridge begins building over the East Coast. A more detailed forecast breakdown is below!

Late AM Zones Update: Isolated Showers This Afternoon, Potential Cut-off Low Early Next Week

Happy Friday! Some unsettled weather continues today. Showers have been around the region overnight and early this morning, as a warm front tries to lift further into NYC and Northern NJ. However, this warm front will remain further south, as more moist marine influence remains over the region. This will cause mostly cloudy skies, cool and damp conditions to remain this afternoon, for much of the region. Some areas of patchy fog and drizzle is also possible.

Midday All Zones Update: Some Unsettled Weather Continues

Happy Thursday! After some showers around the region earlier this morning, some unsettled weather continues. Some clouds will still be around for rest of the day, with frontal boundary over the region. But some dry-air with a northwest flow developing aloft will allow for more breaks of sunshine this afternoon.. This will help temperatures rise further into the mid-upper 60s to lower 70s much of the region by late this afternoon. Onshore winds and more low clouds will still keep some coastal areas from rising out of the mid-upper 50s.
