New York Metro Weather LLC offers detailed forecasts tailored for your workplace or business. Our professionals and meteorologists work 24/7 to keep you updated on the weather – regardless of whether the sun is shining, or a storm is bearing down. Daily email forecasts feature a breakdown and discussion of the weather pattern, as well as trends and expectations in temperature and precipitation. In addition, storm alert briefings and discussion packages are sent with a specific focus on your businesses location and needs, keeping you days ahead of the impending weather. In addition, phone consultation is available by request (daily or in requested increments), and the emailed or phone forecasts can be designed by you to fit your every need. From landscaping, to construction, to home improvement — our forecasts will help you maximize profits and cut down on the uncertainty that weather provides. Most importantly, our forecasts and alert system will keep you up to date and ahead of the storm — with your knowledge of any impending precipitation or storm systems, you can make educated decisions on your day’s work. Features included in the Client package include:
Email forecasts: Our clients receive fully customizable email forecasts each day, or as often as they’d like. The email features all of the information necessary to act based on the day’s upcoming weather.
Daily Forecast Discussions & Briefings: Our clients receive daily forecast briefings, which detail the weather expected on their workplace or worksite each day. The briefing features a brief synopsis of the day’s weather, any expected hazards or precipitation, and the expected timing. Each daily briefing also features details on any expected precipitation including the timing, intensity, type, and amount of precipitation expected. (See Example)
Snowfall forecast maps: During the winter months, or prior to an impending winter weather event, our clients will be the first to receive our company’s forecast snowfall maps. These maps are generated by hand, with a team of forecasters working to best predict the upcoming storm system. (See Example)
Detailed snowfall forecasts: Tailored to your specific location or business, our forecasters provide you with detailed hour-by-hour snowfall forecasts prior to a winter weather event. The forecast include precipitation type, intensity, accumulations, and expected road conditions, hazards and travel impacts.
Weekly weather summaries: Our forecasters will provide your business or location with weekly weather summaries, outlooks and recaps. The summaries will include temperature and precipitation anomalies, a look ahead to the next week, and a forecast verification.
Monthly temperature and precipitation forecasts: Long range, or monthly outlooks, are released by our team of forecasters prior to each month (also seasonally). You will receive the outlook with detailed information on the expected forthcoming pattern.
Storm Alert Briefing: More than two days prior to a potential significant event, our forecasters release Storm Alert Briefings (or SAB’s) to our clients. These include the expected hazards, a breakdown of the storm system, and necessary preparations.
Phone consultation by request: You may request phone consultation up to once per day, on the weather or any associated information. Phone consultation is free prior to any storm system — our forecasters will contact you with information.
24/7 live updates during storms: An updating page available on the internet to clients, which shows our forecasters’ activity as well as new information and thoughts prior to and during a storm system.
Storm/event reanalysis: Our forecasting team conducts reanalysis of past storm events including snowfall totals, damage reports, and record event reports which will be made available to you as a client.
