Good morning! Mostly cloudy skies are expected today,  as a storm system from the southwest begins impacting the parts of Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Temperatures will likely not rise much of the lower to middle  70s.  Showers will spread of the region later this morning and afternoon. These showers could produce some briefly heavy downpours. But there is better chance for more steadier, heavier rainfall and some thunderstorms, as the dynamics increase better organized around the storm system.
