All Zones Late-AM Update: More Unsettled Weather, But Some Warmth Late Week?

Happy Tuesday! High pressure will be moving east over Quebec this afternoon. This will cause more northeast winds and a maritime airmass to begin filtering into region. But mostly sunny skies will still help temperatures rise into lower to middle 60s over much of the region, this afternoon.  Areas closer to New Jersey shore, Long Island and Connecticut will more sea-breezes this afternoon keep temperatures upper 50s or around 60.

AM Zones Update: Mostly Dry Through the Weekend, Very Warm on Easter Sunday

Happy Friday! Today will be another pleasant Spring Day as high pressure from Canada builds over the region.  Some clouds may come through from time to time, as some weak mid-level disturbances move the region, especially this morning. But these clouds should break for more sunshine this afternoon.  High temperatures will be in lower to middle 60s again. Light winds will allow for some weak sea-breezes to develop along the shores this afternoon.

AM All Zones Update: More Warmth into Tuesday…Cooler Late Week

Good morning and happy Monday! A strong East coast ridge will provide some very pleasant warm weather over the region over next few days. Today will be mostly sunny with high pressure of Mid-Atlantic coast in control. 850mb temperatures today between 12°C and 13°C with southwest winds with light southwest winds will support high temperatures in the mid-upper 70s over much of the region, especially away from the coast.

AM Zones Update: Unsettled, Chilly Weather Today, Warming Trend Begins Sunday

Happy Friday! After the drenching downpours yesterday, more unsettled weather is in store today. Shortwave energy and a cold pool aloft associated with a large upper-level low over the Northeast will be swinging through region today. This will cause more lift and instability for some scattered showers to develop by this afternoon.
