The substantial heatwave that we have been warning about looks to finally crank up this week. Conditions will start off rather reasonable, but the heat and humidity will be in full-swing around mid-week. The entire NYC metro is likely to see several days above 90 degrees, with temps possibly roaring above 100 to close out the week!
Our sensible weather has once again calmed down after a series of strong thunderstorms impacted the area last night. Thankfully, this calm weather is likely to last right through the weekend and into the beginning of next week! While conditions will remain dry, we’ll also be gradually turning up the heat through next week!
Today has been yet another warm/hot day across the entire Northeast. Tomorrow (Thursday) may feature some heavy showers and thunderstorms across the area, but nothing too impactful overall. Showers will likely linger into the beginning of Friday but should clear out just in time for the weekend! All indications point towards another bout of hot & humid conditions, potentially lasting through next week! As always, here are your five things to look out for during the next week!
