We started off this week on a rather cloudy and unsettled note, but this looks to change. High pressure will build into the East, allowing for at least a few days of warm and dry conditions. Our attention then shifts to a series of disturbances out west that may bring our next round of unsettled condition!
Happy Monday! After a slow start to the morning, the weather will improve this afternoon. Better yet, high pressure will build in during the middle of the week. The result will be warm, calm weather (finally!). Unsettled weather may return by later in the week and during the weekend. Here are five things to look out for this week and through July in NYC:
Warm and mostly dry conditions continue to dominate much of our sensible weather. While the 4th of July looks to stay relatively dry for our area, warmer temps and more humid conditions are likely. Finally, unsettled conditions are likely to produce widespread showers and thunderstorms by Saturday.
Beautiful weather has settled in to the Northeast states to start the week – and Monday was one to write home about. Temperatures thus far have been warm and weather conditions have been quiet. This comes as welcomed news after a weekend of active weather and severe storms.
As the week goes on, chances for showers and thunderstorms will increase. This will reach a climax this weekend, when the potential for heavy rain is expected to increase.
